A profound LSD Experience in The Sinai

When I was in Egypt, in my hotel room in the Sinai, I took two Hofmann tabs containing LSD. Normally when I take LSD for myself, I take at least 400 micrograms or so. In this instance, I heard an inner voice pleading with me to only take two blotters, when I was going to take four. Only later did I find out that this acid was unsuually strong at 250 micrograms a blotter!

First, I took half a gram of synthetic mescaline, which did not do a great deal. I was left looking at terrain that was featureless and somewhat sparkly, but totally empty. So after a few hours in the mescaline world, I took the LSD. It came on quite fast, and I was immediately driving with great acceleration towards a destiny, myself and yet, beyond myself, careening through the technosphere for some time with great gravity, acceleration and then deceleration through windows of technology and beingness.

Then, looking into the distance, my mind became fixed on a hypnotic pattern like a a rapidly unfolding flower, and I went into a trance. The pattern opened up, and emerging from a kind of vortex came a being who would have been no larger than two foot high and less than half a foot wide. I was absolutely stunned, because I knew that this being was the Egyptian goddess Isis. There was golden light around this primarily pink being that also had strangely defined coloured features, which corresponded to images I had seen of Egyptian gods and goddesses.

Immediately, I knelt before this being, as it commanded incredible respect and it seemed to regard me as a small boy. I put out my hands, spluttering, taking great care to receive the blessings from the moving pink tendrils it was bestowing on me. Then, from its eye, to my third eye, it shot a golden beam of light! I was overwhelmed and stunned for a while – in which time the being unceremoniously left.

I was then shown, in flashes, short animations of incredible things that were happening all around the world on this day. I saw the great adventure of life, and that my experience was somehow weaved into one of these great adventures on this day. This experience left me feeling incredibly fresh, as if newly born and very excited. There was something irreversible about this experience. There is simply no way to deny such an experience, as there is a crisp vividness in these trance states that is simply not at all present in the ordinary state of consciousness.

Ketamine

Most people only know ketamine as a party drug, which enthusiasts snort to get wasted, ‘out of it’ and possibly, if they manage to snort enough of the sharp powder into their nose, go into the ‘k-hole’. However, being social or out on a dance floor is about the worst place to seriously experience ketamine. To really experience ketamine you must inject it into a muscle with a needle, preferably human grade ketamine from a vial.
